A Change of Direction

Well, one miserable post in the last 3 weeks -- despite the fact that I've attended all of the recent Council and Committee meetings. I have been too busy to write reports. So what I will do for the forseeable period of time is to podcast the meetings. I want to come up with a method of easily posting audio and then I will worry a little later about reporting and indexing. Let me try this for a bit and we'll see some benefit to the shedding of light at these meetings. Let's see what happens. Also feel free to listen randomly to the meetings -- you always learn something interesting about your City. Below is a recording of the most recent Land Use, Housing and Transportation Committee meeting held November 21, 2006 from 4:12 - 7:25 PM. Items discussed include Community Land Trusts, Main Street Station rail improvements, Green building research report (34:30), Mayor Wilder's Task Forced ADU (Affordable "Dwelling Unit") Charter change discussed for the third time in committee (1:31:00).
